So, I need to get my hub assembly(hopefully only one) replaced... again These things wear out like clockwork.

So anyway the OEM replacement usually runs me about $250; is there a third party replacement? Will it function just as well? I think I recall someone saying there was, but I can't find the thread.

I'd like to order the part myself to possibly save some money, my mechanic is great so I'll have him install it (even though I may be able to do so myself)

I have been using a Timkin hub for about 50000. Lifetime warrenty and about 200 for the pair.

I got mine from ebay for around $75 shipped. I installed it myself. It's holding good. Get the solid silver axle nut.

Got mine from an auto parts store for about $68.00
Installed myself and no problems yet.

Got one from O'Reily several years ago and haven't had any problems out of it. It was under $100.
