I got AC Delco stock platinum plugs at Autozone. plugs are 6$ a piece. wires (Although I think I got bosch wires) are ~30 I think.. any autoparts store should have the AC Delco platinum plugs. AC Delco wires, I don't know. but Bosch is just fine.

I would always double check the gap before you put them in

Remember that some folks have had issues after they change out the stock wires and/or plugs.

Here's a good start...

Otherwise, just search spark plug wires and sift through the threads. I haven't hanged any of mine out yet, but I'm about to.

Well 8 year old wires do need changing. But common things are a misfire. But personally I've had that problem only cuz (stupid me) mixed up two wires and it sounded like i had firecrackers in my tail pipe and didn't want to run right anything higher then idle. Brands of wires wont change anything, as long as they do their job. Some do it better then others. I had taylor 8mm wires at one point and when I was pulling the wires off one time, and the boot stayed and the wire came out of it, (hand slipped off the boot and pulled the wire itself a little too hard) so just got stock replacements and can't complain.

Another problem I had with the taylor wires was when I got the Accel coils (yellow ones) they made a difference, but all that power wasn't going to the plugs I had spark jumping between the wires themselves. I opened the hood when It was getting dark, give it a little rev and it was like a christmas tree. ended up returning the coil packs after that. Although i see plenty people using accel coils and no misfires. I just had crappy wires.

Umm...
...If you want AC Delco parts (for cheaper than at the dealer), try finding a local authorized AC Delco distributor.

I use Cochrane Automotive - Parts location (http://www.cochraneautoparts.ca)
Cochrane Automotive - their parts counter is not a retail store.
Just a parts counter & warehouse in back that mechanics go to for parts.
If you call them & they don't know you; they quote you the Retail List (dealer's price) but when you go there & bring cash, they discount the pricing.

PS: Their website Tel # has a typo lol
It should be: 416-236-1641.

Uh.. did you try your local Canadian Tire store? I bought NGK Iridium plugs and Bosch (8mm) wires for my GAGT for something like $90 (on sale), tax included. I've put on 40km since then, without any problems. I think that regular price is something like $110 for all of those items.

Thats cool, but why pay more if you don't have to. Canadian Tire also sells the Delco plugs...I think that they are something like an additional $3-$5 a pack more than the NGK. For Delco wires, you would probably have to try the stealership or somewhre else though.
