twin post mirrors

Well,i bid on a set of used aftermarket twin post mirrors,and i got them and the drivers side mirror is partly faded a greyish color,sorta blotchy.The pics in the auction did not show this ,and they guy said they were MINT.....Well,they are in very nice condition even have a great shine.But i cant put greyish faded mirrors on my black car which is in pretty amazing shape.I may have to get the f***ers painted.I am really pissed.Sorry i dont feel like taking pics,if anybody has any ideas besides painting let me know,this F***in sucks bigtime....:mad::banghead:rage::scream:

If they are just the plastic ones, clean them up well and then put some wax on there.... shines em right up.

Give them a couples of coats of black Krylon and clear.

They probably werent painted in the first place. Which means its just bare plastic and that stuff fades so easy. Throw some paint on and call it good. I'm going to paint mine at the Body Shop, but rattle can does the job too.
