I haven't been on a whole lot latley, been relativley busy but as I'm sure most of you know, I sold my R6 and about 2 weeks ago bought my new toy to replace it. Its a 2002 Mustang GT, with a Vortech supercharger.

I realize this is a pretty biased GM site, so I'm ready to hear all the haters. I get a lot of "I'm not a mustang fan, or even ford, but this thing is really nice.". Here is the mod list...I haven't really had a chance to do anything else with it, not that I see any reason to because its basically my dream mustang. Considering the fact I've wanted one forever.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. I wouldnt have bought it if it was automatic, it is 5 speed...because well, its just much more fun that way. :)

It has 72,000 miles on it, and incase anybody was wondering I paid 13,000 for it which is high unless you factor in the mods. Mods dont add value to cars, unless its what somebody is looking for, this happened to be exactly what I was looking for so I was willing to spend 3,000 extra.

Just take it easy on the turns. The rear live-axle will be your worst enemy on a car with that much power.

very nice, im a huge ford fan, i luv mustangs as long as there placed together nicely, which this one it. just dont put on that huge tacky spoiler. just color up the engine alittle like a little red or something. but it looks sweet as shet.

True..but the previous gen has a 2v motor with less power at the crank than the 3v has at the wheels. :D

It runs 10-11 PSI, which is plenty for me...it puts you in your seat. :)

..as long as everything goes as planned, I'll be finding out what kind of track times I can pull out of it tomorrow. Probably 13s I'm guessing, since I'm not used to running a fast car.

13K sounds like a good price to me. who did the mods ? how many owners ?

with all the mods it looks clean. I always said that you pay what its worth to you I would have paid 13k for it thats for sure.

The guy I bought it off of, bought it from a dealership just the way it is now so I would imagine that the owner before him did the mods. He just simply couldnt afford the insurance and car payments anymore, so I took it off his hands :)

I took it to maple grove for the first time tonight...
My first pass was a 13.345 @ 108 mph with a 2.353 60' [I couldn't hook up at all]
Second pass was a 12.8 @ 111 mph with a 2.151 60'
My final pass was a 12.9 @ 111 mph with a 2.128 60'

Anyway, after a few more passes and getting more comfortable with the car my personal best is a 12.22 @ 119 mph with a high 1.9 60'. Still the same car with the same mods, just better driving lol.

Yeah just kept going to the track every chance I got. It still has more in it with this setup, and still on street tires. I'm shooting for a low 12.1X or a 12.0X this coming track season.

Wrecked, but very rideable I got 4,000 for it. I only paid 4,800 when I bought it and put 8000 miles on it in a year. I feel like I made out pretty good on it lol
