Stock or LED??

I am kinda debating going back to my stock tails vs. my LEDs.

My right LED tail has 3 LED's out, and I think they might be "****"

How bright are they in direct sunlight? That would be my only worry.
If they're okay in direct sunlight, keep 'em.

Not that it matters because of the lower backup lights, but are the back up lights in those things LED's also?

^nope, the reverse lights aren't LEDs.

I say go back to stock man, but did you ever do anything with the few bulbs that were out on the LEDs?

new its a few LEDs and I don't know to do once i got the lights apart. Like where to get new LEDs and how to install them. i guess the only way would be to remove them.

Sorry if you already tried this. Kinda coming in on this mid conversation. But if some of the LED's are not lighting up, it may be as simple as them not being soldered correctly. Cold solder joints. Simply re-solder the connections on the LEDs that are out. Re-solder all the LEDs since you have it apart anyway.

I havnt had them apart at all. To get to the LEDs i have to take them apart. How do you cold soder?

Unless your iron is too many watts and you burn up a bunch of diodes.....
