this is a before-after shot ( old alt and new one!!! )......i also installed a Gatorback belt.....as u can see from pic 1......:cheers:

thanx.....yea they are very nice....they look better in person but im sure u know already.......like all things, they are better in person.......i definitely recommend the alternator mod....specially if u have a large thumping system.....an aftermarket alt becomes a critical condition.....:thumbs:

yes i installed it myself......very easy.....just take ur time to reroute the belt to make sure it goes on as it was before.......i paid $250 shipped. ( 210 + 30 to powder coat......u have 3 options.....red....blue ......or silver.....and + 10 for shipping which came out to $250.....took about 2 weeks to get here....( i ordered it during the holidays so if u order it now, it might be less then that.....) i bought it at: www.afterthoughtsauto.com :)

p.s.....just in case some of u dont know yet......the stock alternator is 105 amps......this one is 160! :thumbs:

oops.....i said u have 3 color options....but actually u have more choices then that.......the site has all the colors available....

wtf 250 for a 160 amp alternator?!?!?!? i get that u paid for power coating , but from the pic it look like blue paint...

NOT burst u world on it , but for 140 + shipping i could have got a 160 alternator for u.......( Sorry to me the ALT looks painted in that pic)...

Well ... yea i know what power coating is...

Its a coating that sticks to the cage of ur altermator using electricity To bond to aluminum.....

Ur pic of the Alternator looks to ME as painted.....

yea probably my cam makes it look painted too......its cheap from Target.....but it does its job for now.....takes pics and stuff....oh well.......when i get my upper/lower intake manifolds, ill be having them power coated too.....:)

yeah.....ill be gettin' SA's intake & TB....then from pfyc.com, ill be getting the bigger cat and the other - guys headers........probably til like the end of this yr tho.. :( ...cuz for spring ill be doing suspension ( intrax, sway bars, brake upgrade kit, etc ) and hopefully *** kit w/ SD hood......( no spoiler tho )

Same here i should have my *** kit with in the next month or 2 ..

No wing... its ok but i have a wing aluminum(its for sale) and i'm going for a cleaner look.... Also ill save up for the rear sway bar and brakes looking into the SSB brakes there a little cheaper than Bear brakes ....
