thanks, i plan to get another motor and then paint the actual motor itself, oil pan silver, the block red, the heads and all up high gloss black. i think im goin to paint the pullys all red too.
im movinghte battery to make the intake straight, like it will come right from the manifold to the fender as one pipe, then a 90 degree bend, then another pipe nad then the AEM cone filter. this way its one bend so i get better intake.
i completely cleaned out the intake manifold, it had like and 1/8" of oil and dust and shet all in it. now the intake should be better. lol.
i cant wait its goin to be bad ass under the hood now. lol.

1 bend doesnt neccessarly mean you'll get a better intake, the point of most intakes is not necassarly to suck a lot of air but to increase the velocity so it packs more O2 in the engine.

That looks good! So what color are you planning on painting your car? You gonna keep with the silver, red and black theme? Two-tone maybe?

i plan to paint it black with red blue and gold flakes, marine corps colors,
one bend is better then two, more velocity. id reather have no bends but cant do that lol.
under the hood will be the only real place i use the red black and silver theme.
plus im gettin all clear hosing for some places. its goin to be bad ass when its done.

Um, I see silver all over your windings inside the alternator... you didn't take it apart, did you. :nono: I hope it still works. When you paint or polish an alternator casing you are supposed to take it apart and take out the internals. There are some parts on the inside that if they get damaged or covered in paint, you are focked.

^ = whoops
i didnt catch that till you mentioned it. Even if it works now, it probably will fail wayyy sooner than before.

Question... Besides taking off the cap of the coolant resevoir, how you going to eye ball the level to see if you're good or not?

i did clean all the paint off the internals, i forgot about that to till i painted it and then my brain started working, but yes its fixed no paint on the coils on the inside. and the coolant is self leveling its got to pieces that stick off the end that make it stay level its been removed before and it worked fine after i put it back in but thanks for the concerns. i caught that right after i started painting.
