Got rid of the GA

Well i finally was able to get a car i wanted with no cosigner or other help. I just signed the papers yesterday. I picked up a 2006 Grand Prix GXP, fully loaded. I don't have any pictures of it just yet, but if go to the link i provided and search for the above car you'll pull up two of them and the stock # on mine is p4326. This thing is leaps and bounds past what my GA was. Its also pretty quick to :). Now I have a new engine to learn but i think i will still be back here quite frequently.

Actually i paid 15.4k for it after everything. A nice car for the price imo. They did try me on a the A4 GTO but it was a little pricier and purple/blue i think. So i passed.

I don't the obsession for grand prix's but the dealerships must love to get rid of these cars that are collecting dust on the lot. You can easily buy a 04 GTO for 15k won't have those low miles but its a better car by far.

good deal I looked up on kelly blue book and the trade in value is 14,265 to 16,925 so I think you made a good deal. they say retail is $23,185.

GP's are pretty nice, but after I get rid of the GA, I'm either going GTO or G8. That' won't be for some time though. The GA is gonna go until the wheels fall off.... lol

I haven't run a lot of gas through the thing yet to get a very accurate estimate on mpg, but using the cars sensor at 55-60 on the highway in cruise I can get 30mpg, which is good because to work is 90% highway. I also test drove the GTO they have there and to be honest it's a nice car but didn't seem like a big upgrade to me, I liked it though. They are both 13 second (I think) cars and are real nice imo. I don't really have any plans yet to mod it yet but I would like a little more sound out of it, maybe a resonator delete and I would like some new tips but other than that nothing other then a k&n drop in which I did last night. Mark (mpracing) contacted me earlier about a tune and that's something I might decide to do.
