i believe they changed trannies in 98 to the 4t65 rather than 4t60, dont remember what else they changed

Not sure what to say about this. It's odd that no one's seen this car before. I'd think he'd have had to have gotten some info from here and other sites to pull off the engine swap AND the manual trans since those are both very rare and recent things in the n-body world. I'm sure he probably had to run two pcm's to get it to work just like newfinish did, and that would explain why he needed the extra speedometer, water temp, and fuel level gauges. Not exactly a clean functional install IMO since it doesn't work with the stock gauge cluster and he loses everything else that it has.

He obviously has some talent and skill though. Seems a bit of a waste to me though. All that custom work and money, and he's got about the same HP as my car.
