Alright so my 03 gt is basically stock other then headunit, sub, amp, front speakers, etc. I ordered some black projector headlights abt a week ago should be getting them very soon only thing is im not too sure how to install them and im afraid ill mess something up but at the same time i really dont have money right now to pay a shop to do it! So if anyone can help id appreciate it (oh btw i looked at the how-to but if anyne has any other explainations lmk) Ok anyways heres the future mods..like very near future. Im still undecided on somethings. but here we go

*Items im 100% confident im getting

-18" black with chrome lip 5 spoke
-Sc/t body kit
-xxl grille
-shorty antenna
-20% tint all around
-dual post mirrors
-fixing some minor scratches + dent (they are not even noticable unless close but i want it 100% clean)
-eibach lowering springs
-cold air intake
-borla cat back exhaust
-spark plugs and wires
-new headunit (in dash, flip up touch screen)
-new radar detector (escort)
-6 by 9s
-tweeters
-new sub box 2 12"
-memphis amp
-another cadence triple x


and then on to the undecided

-electrical supercharger only $350 says itll add up to 25hp (cant afford a real s/c rt now)
-what kind of tails. idk maybe balck tyc tails and then tinting them? or clear altezza and tinting?
-Sd hood or i have a sc/t hood with 2 scoops but it needs some major reapirs, or carbon fiber hood witht he one scoop i think its a spider 3?
-what kind rubber..i need something decent but not too expensive

Talking debadge the car or not..im leaning towards a no
-i want to do the interior with all the whit face everything of customgrandam

Thats about it. I know its alot but itll be over time, thats the plans for my car so if anyone has any opinons or any input on the undecided things let me know and also if anyone is selling anything i listed above just hit me up with the info and price and probably some pictures.

elec superchargers are notihng more than a hair dryer hooked up to ur intake and do nothing except hurt your performance. thats an ebay gimmick.

Also you can get eibach springs locally from silvergtjared, I sold my springtech ones.

if you don't have money to pay a shop to install headlights (which I wouldn't pay them anyway).....then you need to 86 a majority of that sh1t on your mod list. Don't waste all that money when it's obvious you don't have much.

You don't have the money to pay a shop but you have the money for all that nonsense on your list :huh: Let me guess you're about 17-18 years old...save your money you'll be bored of this car in a year or two then kick yourself for spending all that money on it

Alright. First of all green99gt i pmd you. Im still trading. Second of all the supercharger was a thought i found it interesting. I dont think you can go around saying who has money and who dosnt. And i can do the headlights myself its more or less i dont want to mess anythign up. It not like im a pro at headlight removal and installing. I can pay a shop to actually but id rather do it myself which was why i was asking if anyone knew any tips. And admins can take the other thread down if they wish. i wanted to update it and i wanted opinons on this list which isnt what the other thread was about yes i listed my future mods but thats about all. So in all and all i dont think you guys should be worrying about whether i have money to do anything or if i have another thread thats similar i asked for opinions on my FUTURE mod list. This is everything i want done to my car when i am completley done with it, im not going out tommorow and buying all this.

With your headlights.....seriously. There isn't much you can f*ck up. If I can do it myself, so can you. And if you are scared to break something or mess something up with your headlight installation..I don't know how you are going to install half the stuff on your list, which about 90% of it can be done by you.

yeah im going to do them myself. Just as im fixing a completley damaged sc/t by myself and just as iv done my sound system, brakes etc etc. So ill just end up doing it myself. Just gotta read up on wiring it, it says plug and play but someone said something about cutting the header panel.

Well what you'll find on here is that alot of the younger generation makes poor investment/money choices not realizing that the money is better saved or invested. Those that are educated or who have learned the hard way will put in their .02 on the subject.

Here's an example of how bad the modding can get. Currently there is a for sale thread, easy to find, where the guy is going on and on about how bad he needs the money...and it isn't to pay bills, it's to buy more car parts. This means he has no money saved up, nothing to pay his real bills, and he is continuing to sink money into his car.

We don't want to send people down that road, so many here will get personal in an effort to teach you financial responsibility. You may or may not like that, but the advice won't stop flowing. And if you listen, you may find a way to do what you want to your car AND have a nice little nugget of money on the side to fall back on should you need it. :)

I totally understand. And i really do appreciate everyones opinions and help. I didnt mean to come off the wrong way but yeah i will not take it that far. The list above is pretty much a dream list, i mean i will get this and that here and there but i will never put myself into debt over a car. I just got a job at best buy which is my 4th job and starting here im making more then i ended at my last job. So im going to put some money away, some for my car, some for the gf, then money to go out and bills etc. But liek i said i def understand where you guys are coming from trying to help me be wise and not make mistakes and get myself into debt for parts for my car. But i just get bothered when people basically tell me not to do this or that or "you can buy parts but pay for them to get put on" and then classifying me as a typical 17-18 year old. But its cool, thanks for explaining aj appreciate it.

Don't feel bad for falling for the electric supercharger gimmick. I did too at one point. Most of the sides that sell them give a pretty convincing story. Luckily I mentioned it on another message board before I purchased one, and well I got hazed pretty well for even mentioning it. "why don't you add some GTR stickers to it those add 5hp each!"

I think if you search on google you'll find a site thats tested all of them and have found they not only do not give you performance, they restrict your intake and actually decrease performance! Don't get me wrong an electric supercharger could work in theory, in fact I think their is one out their that does work...but its going to take a LOT more voltage than whats those things take!
