Okay I just did my oil change but couldnt find the oil filter. I notice that the filter wasnt like others. There wasnt a hard shell around it. Can anyone help me and tell me where it is.

HUH!! If there wasn't a hard shell around the filter, then you would have lost ALL of your oil as it pumped through the system and the car would have seized up.

While standing in front of the car, look just to the right of the throttle body below the big black intake ducting. You'll see a black cap with a 24mm hex on top. This is your oil filter cap. Remove with said 24mm, remove filter cartridge, install new filter and reinstall cap to engine. Done.

LOL, it's a cartridge filter..

It's on the right side of this pic with the black cover on it.. Only pic i had (intake manifold removed)

^^^^ Thanks Cliff. I never realized that that's how the 2.2 is set up. Actually had never seen it... ;crap That's kinda crazy.. Ehh. If it works..

Snapped a rod. I was told there was a crack in the other side too.

It took in some water from when it flooded by my work. I have a bypass valve now.
