Sportwing.com SC/T spoiler question

Before the old forum went down, there were a couple of guys (sorry can't remember who you were) who ordered SC/T spoilers from Sportwing that I'm hoping can help out. I have a question about installation. Does it use the same footprint as the stock spoiler? The instructions say that drilling is needed on the top of the trunk, but I’m not sure I need to do that. I haven’t had time to take off the stock spoiler yet, but I eyeballed the existing holes with the included template, and they look the same. Just want to make sure that the base of the spoiler matches up with the existing holes and only requires drilling into the base of the spoiler. Any info on this?

Correct, it uses the same mounting location as stock.

all you have to do is drill holes into the sc/t spoiler. just use the template they included.. pretty easy

Thanks, guys. This'll make it a lot easier. All I need to do now is get a drill stop to make sure I don't go in too far.
