Powertuner problems

Well after a long break from the car i've started to tinker once again. Amazed at the stuff i've forgotten about in such a short time. (the mind really is the first thing to go) But anyways i went to do some scanning and no dice. Error # 162 severity blah blah blah all gauges read --. Tried to do a read of my current file and i get error #168 severity:2 mode 34 request upload no response. Pretty much the only thing it will do is allow me to read and clear dtc's. I thought that my port was messed up but if it allows me to read and clear dtcs then it has to be something else. Where is Todd when you need him. any input is appreciated.

It's been a long time. I believe you need to check the wiring harness & the connection to the ecu. If this doesn't work try swapping out the ecu for a spare one if you have one. Perform a full write of your file to the ecu. Restart the car and see if you're having the same problems.

Switched to another port that has a more secure connection. Was able to do a read but still not able to get the Powertuner to scan any other ideas?
