So I got the calipers I need for the camaro brake conversion. The problem is they are dirty as fock. it also looks like there is some rusting going on inside the piston. What do you think the best way to clean them up is? Im gonna be getting them powder coated so I need them to be clean clean. Ideas?

Brake cleaner and a wire brush to scrub the rust, IMO

maybe just get new calipers.. they are a bit pricey, but they will work 100% and they will be very clean.

He just got these I don't think he is going to buy another set just because these are dirty.

But x2 on brake cleaner and wire brush. Steel wool works too

Who is doing the powder coating? They might be putting them in a sand blaster to prepare them for the coating. You might have to knock the loose stuff off, smooth the sharp edges and let them finish it.
