tail tint

i gotta pair of the tyc chrome tails on my black gt and i'm looking at tinting them, you guys think this combo would look good?

I dunno about that tint. Its just going to peel off IMO, or fade and look like crap. Buy some nightshades and tint them. Throw clear over the top of that, wet sand it with some 2000, and buff em' down. Materials will cost about the same as buying that ebay tint junk, and you will get better looking more permanent results from it. Just my $.02

^Agreed. And you can also gauge how much tint you'd like according to your taste.

I had the vinyl tint on mine for a while. Unless you know what you're doing, it's very difficult to get it done right. I had a few bubbles in mine when I did it. It's hard to stretch the vinyl around the curves of our tails.

I loved the look of the vinyl but I got ticketed because it was too dark. I had to remove it (sold the tails to someone else) so if you live in an area where you're likely to get ticketed, go with the Niteshades and don't go too dark. That's my next move as soon as I get a second set of tails to tint.
