I was being a smartass. Give us some more details about your setup, such as how you wired it and whatnot, and you'll get more helpful answers.

ok so i got it wired just like in the diagram in that faq on here so :
- white from halos and those 3 leds to brown on the parking lamp
- black from halos and 3 leds to black on the parking lamp
i get the 3 leds to work but not the halos

Man you need to do a better job with those wires unless ur temp checking the connections... i prefer "Butt Connectors"

i know im obv not goin to leave it like that.... i was just checking out if alll works.... and the halos dont i tried connecting just the halos too but no luck

maybe there dead but do you think both would have died?

If you hooked them up to a solid power source (like your signal lights) turned them on and they dont light up then the're probably burnt or not connected properly by ebay(i used the term figurativly)
I have no idea what the voltage on the halos is so i wouldnt hook em up to a 12v

They still haven't made decent projectors?

The LED's might not be in the sockets. Pull the big black plugs out the back and test them across the battery.

ok so i should just put the wite wire to the red on the battery and the black to the black on the battery?

ok so i got my dad to take them in to a electrician at work to test them.... the halos work fine on a 12v source so u think i should try a different wire?.... what if i wired them to the same source as the low beams?
Mojoopo

ok so i hooked them up straight to the battery and they light up no problem... so why do they not light when they are connected to the parking light

I dont mean this in a belittling way, but did u try to turn the parking lamp ON if you are doing this during the day?
Our cars dont run the parking lamps during the day, only the low beam, u need to turn the knob to either the middle or topmost setting on the headlights during the day to turn them on.
I have to do this on mine to get my halos on (during the day only)
give it a try, wont hurt right? :boogie:

ye tried it and only the 3 leds on the side work

well i am learning with my own problems with halos, mine have a power inverter box on the light, maybe its entirely possible that there is just not enough power coming from the parking lamp source to power the halos.
if they work coming from the battery, and you are sure the parking lamps work normally (with the stock bulbs) then i guess you have to find another power source. ;crap
maybe someone will post something more useful though and solve your problem :D

yea thats what im think im goin to get a multimeter soon to see what readings are coming out

could i wire it to the low beams wires?

You could but they would light up when the headlights are on. You couldn't see them very well.

hmmm any other suggestions?

wire them to a switch and put it in the interior

sounds like a bit of work.... hmmm is there any grmmets that i could use to get in there?.....

its not that much work
u just need to wrap the wires around a screw driver and poke it through the firewall
switches are pretty easy to wire up, search the internet im too lazy to write it

Well here's a thought.
Elderas you said that there isn't enough power to excite the gas in MY situation, so there is an inverter.
Would it be possible that he needs one too?

LEDs don't have a inverter. The LEDs work when hooked to a battery. Either there is no power on the wire that he is tapping into or there is a bad connection.

There is power because i can get my 3 leds to light up no problem..... and the old bulb works fine if i put it back on.... the halos only work ehrn connected straight to the battery

my point exactly. i know led's dont need an inverter... but alas... halo's are NOT led's to my knowledge, and since he said that the LED's work but NOT the halos, i think there is not enough power going to the halo's.
i also doubt Mojoopo hasn't tested everything to make sure there is a connection there and that it works. Im sure he did everything possible judging by his posts.

We would need to see the front of the lights to determine what the angle eyes are. They can be ccfl, led or if real ghetto halogen.

haha its all good man i got it figured out.... night time came and it turned out the daylight was too bright for those halos to show anything but heres a pic of it working perfect:P

Well, there's two types of halos. The projector headlights happen to come with both types. The early projectors had halos with two LED's at the bottom that light the ring. Hella Angel Eyes use LED's too.
The later version of projector headlights use the CCFL's which are much brighter.
One problem with the early projector LED's is that the electrical connection would short to ground so the LED would always be on - even with the key off.
