i dont know, like the RB engine in the mustang in tokyo drift was a cool conversion but it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth after. V8s belong in american muscle cars like 4 cyls belong in imports

Pfft, I'd rather take the 95 Supra with the 2JZ. I'd take the car if it was given to me, shove the engine back where it belongs and find a new engine for the camaro
Two for one deal... sorta lol

Both of you are remedial, its not a 4cly or a v6 its just an inline 6...

how do these types of swaps work out in the end? like the LS miata swap is supposedly pretty common too. but again, the miata is an extremely light and balanced car from the factory and putting a giant LS motor with 5 times the power...
same with this, how does an inline 6 affect the car's overall feel? like is it better in the end? i mean, you can make similliar numbers with a big block V8 as well.

I agree. Half of the "cool" factor of driving around in a classic like that is the feel and sound from the engine. That engine just wouldn't feel or sound right. It belongs in an import, and the old school camaro needs a v8. If I was gonna swap anything into it, it would be a newer LS series v8 or a GMPP crate motor.
