View Full Version : Weird headlight problem
So my L headlight went out, and decided to replace all the bulbs in both sides. I did so, with silverstar all around. Now everything works and looks great, with 1 exception. My L side turn/marker light (in the middle) doesnt work until I hit the turn signal. Under normal operating conditions, when the lights are on, they are suppose to steady burn, but this one doesnt, the other one does though. It works fine when I hit the L turn signal though :wtf

make sure the bulb leads arn't bent or one is broken?
isn't there 2 sets of leads like one for the running lamp filiment, and aonther for the blinker filiment?

Sounds like a bad ground. When you use the turn signal, it backfeeds.
Ill take a look at the pigtail. It is the same type of bulb that is in the other side, and that side works fine. It is killing my OCD having one side light up and not the other ;crap . I have another set of the bulbs, maybe Ill try a different one.
