I hate to say it, but I have fallen behind on my payments. Because my ex wife messed up my credit I pay 343.00 a month for my Grand Am. I have fallen behind, and the finance company says they are going to pick up my car on monday unless I can come up with the payments. I love my Grand Am. It is the best car out of the 10 I have had. I feel like a loser, but between rent, utilities, gas, food, child support, etc. It is just so hard to keep up. My ex wife is living the good life on my $1000 a month plus her income. I have been trying to get a loan, but my ex let the house in my name go into foreclosure so my credit is screwed. Between this and my 39 year old brother in law died saturday. My dads friends 16 year old son died Monday, a friend and coworkers wife has just been diagnosed with parkinsons and is losing his house. I know my news seems like nothing compared to these people, but I have been dealing with $hit for so long that this is like the final straw. If anyone knows where to get a loan with bad credit please let me know!

thats actually not even funny sik... :crap, could you try to get like a budget car for the time being? i mean if i understand you right; your credit is F'ed as it is, does having the grand am repo-ed really matter?

No having it repoed does not matter credit wise. I paid the first 12 payments on time, but the last 3 have been a struggle. I just hate the thoughts of losing this car! I dont get why a woman who cheats should be rewarded while I suffer She goes out and buys a new Galant for $25,000, gets a new house and totally screws me over, and I am the one who suffers. Sorry to lay my problems on you guys. I dont have any family who will loan me a grand even though I have family who has money, but they are all kind of jerks. The finance company wont take partial payments. They said all or nothing.

Understood. Trust me..I know all about cheating bitches at this point.

Break it down and prioritize. No one can handle a million things at once regardless of who they are.

Figure out what is most important to you in terms of necessity and work from there. Yes your family may be jerks but it can't hurt to ask. The worst they'll say is no and you're no worse off then where you started.

Man that really sucks :/

Being divorced (and remarried), I was focking glad that my ex didn't get anything from me. Well, to be honest we didn't have much anyways lol I basically blackmailed her without even saying it, though. She left one day, taking a ton of things from our apartment that were not only ours but mine as well. Not to mention she had been cheating on me for like a year. The judge sent us outside to discuss splitting things up (I had the only car we had, which was a POS). She was blarghing about tha car and the PS2 and some other crap. So I basically told her: Look. You took all this ****, which amounts to thins much money (half of it was in the thousands of dollars). You all have been cheating, blargh, and so let's bring that up to the judge, shall we? We'll see how long you last. So she dropped everything and we did a clean split. I was just happy to be away from that crazy whore bitch.

Yeah, repo will fock you a ton worse than you are now. Laws are really focked up with alimony and **** >< Is it possible to trade the GA in for something with a cheaper payment? First thing is to figure out what you can cut down on and afford

The reason the house was still in my name was because she could not get anyone to refinance her. So she stays in the house for free until it went into foreclosure, saves all the money from not making the payment and what I have to pay her, and buys a better house. She is in a rent to buy house now. She bartends and lies about her income, so she is able to get benefits from the state. She told me she makes over $4000 a month! Plus her new fiancee(Ya this will work) makes good money. I dont understand how some people no matter how bad of things they do always have life by the balls.

Well........looks like you need to get another job. I know that's a pain, and a lot of work, but if you need to pay the bills, you need to pay em.

I wish you the best. If i had money comin' outta my ass, I'd donate, but I unfortunately don't. That would be nice wouldn't it?

ouch man, looks like you got the short end of the stick. The good thing though, when she gets married to this new guy, doesn't your child support stop? Or is he not going to adopt the kid(s)?

Another point about child support, technically it should go to the kids, or to cover their expenses, right? so that 1k a month goes toward the kids, legally. Not to say she isn't like a bunch of other parents and pocketing that ****.

Also, i agree that the divorce laws are F'd. B*tch cheats, b*tch gets nothing! Guy that lived 1/2 a mile from me got electrocuted, and while he was recovering it was discovered his wife was cheating.. They got a divorce, and SHE got the 25k from the insurance by the end of it, while he was still recovering!

Sucks Man, Try trading the Grand Am in for something older. Speaking of Galants there really cheap used that might help a little. You can check with your State Laws. Some place's if u put a baby seat in the back of the car they can't touch it for few weeks, might buy u some time.

I though my Luck was crap right now. I can't even get the fock out of parents house, Cause College cost my Fiancee a Crap load and still only makes 10.50hr, Ya that was worth it.

If you had money coming out of your ass I'd ask my wife if she wanted a roomate and a three-way marriage :D

Getting another job is not really an option. I work different shifts, and I cant really get a part time job. As far as getting a better paying job, there is really nothing out there. The more money I make the more my ex will take. If she gets remarried the child support will still continue. There is no way I will let anyone else adopt my children. There is times I feel like I was born to fail.

no see a grand am isnt the worst car in the world, you yourself owned one at one point or idk why the **** else you would be on here. i was saying he could just let it get repo-ed seeing as how his credit is shot anyway and buy something worth less

Can you go back to court to re-negotiate the child support terms/amount ?
After all, her financial status has changed/will change.

Show all you have done, & the financial hardship it has cause.

PS: Why didn't you have a rental agreement drawn up when your wife & kids lived in your house ?
(Always got to cover your ass.)

Fat chance, here in the US courts favor the woman 99% of the time. The system here is really f'ed up, if she got pregnant again before the divorce was final and the kid wasn't even his he'd have to pay child support.

She was awarded the house in the divorce. I would not have been able to charge her rent. As far as going to the courts and renegotiating. All her income is under the table. I have no way to prove anything. She is an incredibly smart woman when it comes to scamming. I unfortunately owe around $10,000 on the grand am. If i trade it in I will lose my ass, and with my credit and the negative equity and no money down. I dont think I can do anything besides try to save some money and buy a beater. That wont happen before Monday.

I have been trying to get a loan for like $5000, just to get caught up. No one is willing to give me one. I want to badly to get out of this hole and rebuild my credit, but I cant get the credit to do so. Why is it when you only need 5 grand it seems like you are trying to get 5 million? I know life is not supposed to be easy, but I dont think its supposed to be this damn hard. I went to prosper.com, but my credit score is too low to even get a loan there. The last time I looked my score was 460! I found other things on my report that my ex screwed me on.

McDonalds is always hiring? Start getting rid of things you dont need to live on. Cell phone? Cable? Internet? If you have all of those, that's about an extra 150 a month easily. If not more.

Let me get this straight... she cheated, and she got the house and alimony? That's where you went wrong right there. Actually getting married to begin with was a bad idea, or you should have had a pre-nup. EVERYONE needs a pre-nup these days!

The reason the house was still in my name was because she could not get anyone to refinance her. So she stays in the house for free until it went into foreclosure, saves all the money from not making the payment and what I have to pay her, and buys a better house. Plus her new fiancee(Ya this will work) makes good money. I dont understand how some people no matter how bad of things they do always have life by the balls.

She lies about her income and told you she makes over $4k a month? Can you get that on tape? Tell the government on her. Lying about income to receive state benefits is a crime ya' know. You can also use that as leverage to reduce your alimony payments. Take that shyte to court and contest it bro! Lying cheating bitches don't deserve to get out ahead and they don't deserve your hard earned money while you get your car repo'd.

Again, this goes back to the problem of marriage and pre-nups. Sounds like most of your problems right now really stem from her.

Hiding or otherwise disabloing your car only pisses off repo people more. Whether ornot you voluntarily surrender it or hide it is the difference between whether they hold it for outstanding value or payment due.

Banks don't make money off $5000 loans, and in fact they stand a 100% chance of losing it all if that money will only "catch you up".

You seriously need to re-evaluate your wants and needs. Cut your loses and get rid of the Grand Am. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, should owe $10,000 on a grand am that's almost 5 years old.

i feel your pain dude , but even your car gets repoed you still have to pay the 10k loan, just becasue you lost the car, the finace company wants there money, and believe me they will hound you and hound you until you pay them
why not think about bankruptcy claim all debt, even the car loan, and start fresh, it doesnt really hurt your score even though its real low, but you cant buy or get a loan for 7yrs
or you could do chapter 13, which is a leagal consolidation, put the 10k in that one with the rest of your debt, and you make on lump payment each month
i too had it bad like you, ex cheated on me, car i bought for her got repoed, town house forclosed on, but i got custody of my kid, its embarassing but i did a chapter 7 got my name off of everything, my score went up, i went on with my life got a good paying job, bought a house, have credit cards, score went up again, bought the pontiac score went up again, life isnt easy life is a learning adventure every day we live it
thats a suggestion but it will make you debt go away

11 years of not being able to get credit is ****en stupid.

Reduce your cost of living.

Get a damn pen and paper and right down your needs-wants= living costs

You don't need a high cable bill. Save on your electrical by not leaving your phone chargers always plugged in.

But the number one thing get a better lawyer your getting ****ed worse then Jenna Jamison on a good day.
