This (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=1266&prmenbr=361) is the muffler I'm looking at, and I plan on getting these (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=3002&prmenbr=361) tips. Keeping in mind that I have the 2.4L Grand Am, what do you think of this setup? I plan on going 2.5" from the cat back. I have heard a Borla muffler on my friend's 2.2L Cavalier, and it sounded awesome. If there's something you would recommend more, please don't hesitate to post! Thanks!

You can't go wrong with a Borla muffler. I have had my Borla Cat-Back exhaust for 3 years now. No problem and it still sounds great . Oh, the tips should look sweet on the car. You made a good choice.;)

Nice! Thanks guys, I thought the same things, but I figured it would be nice to get a little advice from someone with first hand experience. Both of your cars look sweet, by the way. Wish I had a GT!

I remember when Doug warned about a muffler, but I am almost certain that he stressed the importance of not getting a Camaro-style single in/dual out muffler such as the kind that comes with the Borla system for the 3.4L (I believe). My friend's Cavi was not Camaro style, and I liked the sound I heard from it, so that's what caused me to consider this muffler.
