Hey guys, been reading through all the posts about window regulators.

My rear power window (driver side) goes down, but will not go up. I do hear clunking noises when I push the switch for the window to go down or up. It seems the motor is working fine.

I took apart the door and removed the regulator from the door to see what was going on. The motor looks ok as the cable turns in either direction. I did see some broken white pieces inside the door like something broke off.

However, I can't see why the window will not go up when looking at the regulator. I took a picture of the part. i just want to make sure I need a window regulator before I go out an buy one. i attached some pics of my regulator.

also, In looking to order the regulator, the local parts stores around here have to order them (about 150 bucks). I found this website which has the regulator for 80 bucks. Anyone ever use this company online? Are they reputable?

Sounds like the clips broke off. A common thing unfortunately. I know I've seen some on E-Bay recently.

Is your regulator and motor still working good?

I want to replace both of mine, but I am a bit skeptical of that site you ordered from just because it is so cheap.

I bought the same part from monsterautoparts.com and it works great so far. Much cheaper then the 248 the AC Delco part was going to cost me from "the shop"
