$650.00 ? If your buddy has money to spend everytime it's gonna break down, go for it. When it comes to cars I think ya get what ya pay for.

I had a 1998 dodge stratus, and that car was great to me(before it got stolen) had over 140k on the 2.4 liter, and worked great.

Take if for a drive, join up over at stratusphere.net and ask about what goes wrong with them. Depending on mileage and condition it could be a great deal.

I'd buy a running car for 650, if only to drive the piss out of it and have fun. Maybe make some tacky mods, too.

its 650$ cuz the trannys fluid pan leaks, and will maybe need a new tranny or just the seal. but, i mean ive already driven it, and its perty good, its got a few tacky mods already, looks like a mexican got a hold of it, it also needs some body work, no biggy for me. but thats all thats really wrong with it.

well found out that its a piece of ****, went and test drove it and its stalled all the time, and the electrical system was focked, im good it electrical problems but when the only thing that really works well electrically is the radio, i say screw it, im not touching it, lol. and that the front seat got focked over by some really fat dude that went to look at it. lmao.

well i drove it the other day and there was nothing wrong with it, the lights all worked and the seat was fine, plus the guy jumped the price up to, now he wants 850 for it. no way will i go back to his place to look at a car and neither will my buddy.
