I've been here since September and I doubt anyone has seen my car...
Right now I'm stuck... I've got a fork in my path,
I could either turn my car into a beast, keeping the looks how they are now, or,
I could make my car LOOK like a beast, and do some minor under-hood mods on the side.
I know it is quicker than a stock grand am since we rebuilt most of my engine and got a nice, expensive valve job PLUS my oil is actually liquid now.
Please help me choose a path.

You know those decisions are very personal so do what you want to do. But one thing i would get is an exhaust system.

go for performance! if you build up just looks, you will have nothing to back it up with. maybe turn it into a show car?? it's completely up to you.

I say go for Performance with minor cosmetic mods. Grand Ams get no respect (At least where I'm at.), and I love the look on people faces when they get beat by one. I say make it a beast!

I made the mistake of making it look like a beast with *** and rims and stuff. but it is'nt what people expect under the hood. I would go with performence, don't make the mistake I did, not that *** is a mistake but I do wish when someone pulls up next to me I could be able to kick thier ass, instead of not even mentioning to race.
take my word. I spent the money I was going to get for my supercharger on the body kit, but I just have to save up more to get that.
hopefully I helped out on your decision.
You do what YOU want with your car. Your car your cash.
Personally though, I like sleeper cars, upgrades to the engine, with little bits upgraded on the exterior. Better than going exterior only and having a bunch street racers after you for a race.

well, i think we've all been stuck with this confusion at one point or another, but here is my two cents: if you all ready have some more snot under the hood than stock try some springs for a little drop, then add maybe 17 or 18 inch wheels(these upgrades will give you looks and performance) if ya go for just performance the racers will be impresses, but 90 percent of the time nobody will even know that your GA is anything different than any other GA. but looks keep everybody impressed! hey, it's all in what U want:D

my .02... you cannot look at the car while you're driving... but you can enjoy the performance first hand... so start with some performance mods then tweak the outside
