if you use a 180 thermostat over the stock 195 will your heater still blow the same temp as the stock 195.

Technically no. But you'll never feel the difference. I ran a 180 tstat for years and never had a problem with heat even in the dead of winter.

wind chill doesnt mean **** to a car, its the air temp. i also have a 180 in and dont have any problems. same temps as you. only difference would be that i have open scoops on my hood.

It really wouldn't make a difference. The tstat is closed and the coolant is only circulating in the engine when you first start it up. It stays that way until it reaches the temp the stat is supposed to open, then the hot and cold coolant mix.

Yea. Windchill is just an indicator of what the temp FEELS LIKE with the wind. The actual temperature never changes. And I've got open scoops too. Never had any issues.

Bottom line if you want to do it, do it. Don't worry about it otherwise.

i got a 180 in my car to, heat blows fine its just to let the engine run a little cooler, not by much though unless you lower the temp setting for the fans. my car starts blowing hot air just below the 150 degree mark on my temp gauge
