they are made of a red translucent plastic. you could paint them if you wanted to.

Its solid, thick, dark red. You can paint em, but they are still going to shine red.

i heard that you can take the knobs from the cavys and modify them to fit our ga's. Does anybody know how to do that cause the cavy's knobs are clear.

From what I remember on the old forum, you boil them in hot water then pull it off....But I know there are more steps than that, I just don't remember. Anyone????

u need to sand all the extra glue off too i think:) im pretty sure thats the next step:)

this was'nt as easy to do as they make it out to be... at least not for me.... the hair dryer did nothing for me and when i boiled the knobs the glue got hard in like 30 seconds so i could never get the stupid rubber pealed off in big peices. I just used a knife and tried to cut off as much as possible then sanded them down... after that i took some white paint and repainted the little stripe on the knob and then splashed a few coats of clear coat on them... look really good now.. just be patient with it

Does anybody know how to make the cavalier knobs custom fit our knob holders? I know it can be done i just need to necessary procedures.
