HID's are fun, but if you don't get projector lenses with them the glare is pretty bad for everyone else on the road. Also unless you get a retrofit you lose your brights. 6000k is pretty common, I personally went with 8000k. You will have to disable your DRL's. For your particular year you might have to do something more than yank a relay in order to not get a SVS light. Find the thread on disabling them and check.
I went with 6000K BiXenons, so i still have my Hi/Low beams
I got them from this guy.. Supervtec (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Slim-HID-BiXenon-Xenon-Conversion-Kit-HB2-6K-10000K-5K_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a16Q7c 39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3911Q2ec0Q2em14QQhas hZitem330297532313QQitemZ330297532313QQptZMotorsQ5 fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_6793wt_1163) - the're awesome
I went with the ones shown above.. He sells slim digital kits and normal kits, as well a Hi/Low beam and just low beam
As for the glare, just keep your lights aimed low
