pacesetter and borla are the only two that are still in production.

pacesetter cat back runs 3-350 borla is 8-ish. Searching also helps tremendously.

As your only mod? 3, maybe 4 HP.

sheesh I want an exhaust but alot of guys around here are telling me not to get one cause it will make my car sound ricer. There are no GAs around here with any of the exhausts mentioned here to hear in person. All the ones I see have little fart cannons on them and sound like crap.

I was even thinking about getting a stock 350Z's exhaust and modifying it to use the mufflers on my car. I love the way those cars sound.

An SLP sounds like all that is man..

Flowmaster 80 is a bit over the top IMO..but if you want a nice raspy sound to follow you everywhere, go for it.

All else < these.

If you throw on exhaust from a Mustang GT, your car wont sound like a mustang and vice versa.. same with the 350. The GA won't sound nearly as good. The engine has alot to do with it and the intake system on the vehicle as well. Woulda been dope though if that was the case.

SE..according to his stats on the left....

SE's came with both engines. Can't remember off hand what trim had what engine. Hence why I asked.

I had SLP on my 2.4 and I have it on my 3400

There would be NO reason for them to say that it would sound r1ce-ish. I would have a nice growl with any of the exhausts that you put on it.

Tell the folks that told you that sh1t to eat a d*ck..

Oh snap, that is true. I overlooked that. I've heard an aftermarket on 4cyl GA, and imo it sounded pretty good. I couldnt tell you what muffler or the exhaust setup was.

thats exactly what i did at first..and it sounded 10x better..it was louder and it had a real nice rumble to it.

i have a thread where i took sound clips and a lil vid of just the flowmaster muffler with stock piping..

Coupe has the above combo on his car, sounds mean as ****. When I went up there two years ago he would have people stopping him at every light to ask about it..

One day when I have a job and money..I shall finish off my exhaust with S&S headers and hi flow cat.

Ask MN crew, they've heard it on mine, and Chi crew has heard it when it was Joes car. Little raspy at high rpm, but sounds great otherwise.

yep, that is the one. they are both the same. they didnt make it specifically for the grand am, so you wont find it that way.. but application wise, it works for the grand am..
