Ok.

I have been messing around with this for a while now and I don't really know what I'm doing.

I thought I got the fuse box off, but I didn't. ( I know, that sounds retarded).

I have looked here here (http://www.grandamgt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63009&highlight=remove+fuse+box)

But it really hasn't helped me any.

And I don't want to go yanking stuff off out from under my hood.

Here are a few pics.

Maybe someone can give me a reference?

Thanks in advanced!

3 things.

First, why do you want to remove the fuse box?
Second, your pics don't show much of anything. What are you trying to show?
Third, never attempt something when you don't know what you are getting into-especially something critical. I speak from experience.

Get a Haynes manual for the grand am. That should help you out a little.

I need to get my power cable for my amp connected to the battery.

Apparently you can gain about 4 inches by unhooking the fuse box and scooting it forward a bit.

There is also some sort of clip I have read about in other forums that you can just push in and it will release.

Those pictures you took are from the left side of the box as you face the front of the car. You need to feel around down below the box (take out your factory airbox) and find the tab thats right in the middle. It will feel flat with the bottom but you can also feel the two voids that let you know where it is. Push it up and pull gently towards the front bumper.

Like it was mentioned in the other thread, if you cant find it borrow your moms/girlfriends/grandmas makeup with the mirror in the lid and use that to peek around. It helps if you have a small flashlight when using the mirror too.

Dont pull too hard.

Thanks, I'll go mess with it tomorrow morning (since it's dark now) and I'll try to take more pics and post them.

Hopefully I can get it.
