I hate that I even have to ask this but..

I was swapping out my battery tonight and I noticed a reservoir without a cap to the left of the battery, now because there's no cap on it, i have no idea what it is for. Whatever it is, it's bone dry and I don't want to try to fire up the beast until I've replenished it.. Anyone have any thoughts?

1992 GT
Reservoir is directly to the left of the battery, black opaque plastic..

hmm no, the windshield washer is on the right side of the battery, this is on the left and set down below the battery behind the rad. The radiator fluid reservoir is on the far left of the cavity, so it's not that.

If it's down below, wouldn't it be the ATF resivoir, IIRC?

Post a pic of it.

The only other thing I can think of that is in that area would be the tubing to the air intake which goes all up under the fender well. Although I have no idea if that is even on a 92 GA and plus it is on the right of the battery so I'm kinda stumped.

I read your collective minds, here's a pic

Battery is on the right side of the picture, mystery reservoir is in behind the rad. It just looks like a jug, i have no idea

WTF do you have an aftermarket/Short air intake? To me it looks like the remains of the air intake system or something along those lines. If my 95 GT didnt get totaled i would go out and look.

looks like the intake pipe

Sadly, I have no idea, it wasn't mentioned when I bought this thing a few years ago, what's confused me is the threading on it.. I have accounted for all the fluids a car should have so this one has me completely stumped.

Do you know where your Throttle body is? Do you see a nice filter there or some big Fugly plastic piece?

That's the pipe that goes from your filter box to the fender to get air. Who ever sold you the card took a piece of the tubing out.
