Well today i noticed after my oil change my car seems to be running hot(er). It happened when i used the AC. when using the AC it goes one notch over 90 and when it is off it is straight on 90. It is also alot warmer today so i think that has a toll.
any ideas?

Dude I live in ajax too. I took my car out today and with the 180* stat, I am still running over 90. The trans temp is over 200, thats without the AC on. It is very hot/humid today here, that is normal especially in traffic. Take it up across the 401 or taunton, you'll see the temp drop. I drove across taunton this afternoon and it stayed around 85, trans temp below 140*

P.S. with the AC on, the heat from the condensor also contributes to the heat soak on the rad, it will always run hotter with the AC.

Normal lol

It was 27C / 81F outside yesterday.

Your GA has a stock thermostat of 195F/ about 90C.

Also see: Engine Coolant Fans: Temperatures to turn on (http://www.grandamgt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76705)

Your cooling fans (stock) normally don't even come on until about 106C/223F; or if the AC is on.

ok so its still weird. I looked at it again on a kind of warm rainy day and its still in the 90's. Should i be worried? Its just kind of weird for it to happen all of the sudden like this. Im just worrying because most other Grand Am's run under 90. Its also kind of intermittent so im just blaming it on weather.

Don't worry about it. Have you changed the thermostat yet?
