Cost on have Two Racing Painted on Car!!

Hello~

Well this is my vision:

Two 10'' black racing stripes right up the middle of my car.

Now my real questions is:

HOW MUCH??

I got a quote on about $250 for two vinyal stripes up the middle but he wouldnt go on the bumper and on the rear bumper and than also i am scared of during the winter with salt and everythign and over time the vinyal comin off.

So everyone please give me your .02 cents worth!!

Heck, if you're SURE of the way you want it, I say get it painted ONCE and for all. Only thing is, if you get stone chips on the hood after having stripes invested on it, you'll be more angry than if you just had vinyl. So although vinyl will definately be cheaper, it won't be as "cool" or long term. It'll make waxing the hood harder, too, I think.

So I vote PAINT. :)

Dude, do it with the vinyl. I paid $35 on ebay for the vinyl already in two strips and i put it on myself, took like 30 minutes(would be even faster if you have an extra set of hands) Not a big investment and if you get tired of them or don't like them they come off with bug and tar remover no problem.:thumbs:

i like what you did and where did you get them but can you get them so they come down the front of your car, because i hat it when they stop in the middle and finsih at the bottom

But please tell me where you got the vinyal from

I cut them that way. They gave me like 21 ft. of it when i got them on ebay. just type in vinyl and stripes and it should come up. It was so easy to do. The hardest part was under the spoiler it bubbles up a little bit and you heat it with a hair dryer and shape it down the trunk.
