Ya, I'm like 99% sure that it will fit no problem. Just want to make sure and get someone here who's totally positive to confirm.

I sure hope that was you that bought that. Yes that is the correct tranny for a GAGT. They use the 4t45e and its a match to the one that you have in your car now

depends on how you want to pull the tranny. If you pull it attached to the engine I think thats a bit easier than the way I did it. I had to drop the sub frame and all that fun crap. Took me like 3 days to do a tranny swap. Other than that I dont know much about the internals of the 4T45E but maybe someone else on here might know. Just be prepared to shell out around $400 if you are gunna actually rebuild the tranny b4 putting it in. Rebuild kits are expensive.

Nah, not rebuilding it. Just gonna swap it in and pray to god it works good. Later like in a year from now or so or whenever it fails, I'm gonna get it rebuilt with performance parts.

Since you don't know how long that thing has been sitting around, I would suggest filling it with new fluid to begin, and then changing it after 500-1000 miles. That will get all the impurities out of it and it should be good as new. I have 133,000 miles on my original tranny and I may need to do a swap soon. However, as I'm looking to get rid of the ol' girl in the next year, I'm gonna keep going til the damn thing drops out on it...
