today when i left for work my blinkers werent working, so i checked the fuzes and the bulbs, and they were all good.

then i turned my flashers on to see if they worked and they turned on.

after i turned my flashers off my blinkers suddenly started working

anyone have any idea why this does that?

Probably your hazard switch, bring it to the dealer and they should fix it for free. I've had it done in both GA's when my blinkers started going out, and they replaced it in 15 minutes no questions asked. Pretty common problem.

If it is just the hazard switch its easy enough to do yourself. All you need is the new switch and a small socket set to take the little bolt off that holds in the old switch. The bezel you can pop out without tools.

lol I'd be tempted to pull out the "with all due respect" line and then proceed to suggest you do something to yourself that would be anatomically impossible ;)

Sorry, you didn't specify that in your post. The link I posted was for all 99-05 GA's, but I am willing to bet your problem is the same part.

Well we don't always check that so you need to mention it in your technical questions... because technically this site is dedicated to 99+ grand ams and always has been from the beginning, so we usually think you are talking about that generation. ;) There are enough people here that know stuff about the older cars too. Just make sure you point out the year.
