Reverse lights... ???

I just noticed that I have one light that is black and the other side is clear.

I don't have a repair manual and I'm not a mechanic or repair savy...

see below picture...

do you think I need to replace the lense cover or try and take it off and clean it.. or is it something else?

replace it. It is just held on by two sheetmetal nuts.

Yeah, just replace it. It probably got water inside and the chrome plating in the housing is messed up. That's a very common problem with those. Very easy to replace.

or you could just tint the other to match it
