Hi! Our '99 Grand Am is ?hesitating/bogged down upon acceleration after starting. It runs good after driving for awhile, but it has also happened when driving down the highway on cruise a couple of times. It doesn't do it if we had just driven it an hour or so before. It starts good and doesn't sound like it wants to stall. Tranny fluid is good we're told. No warning lights are coming on. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Becky.

MAF, fuel filter, or cat. How many miles is on your GA?

Yeah, the most common cause are (not necessarily in that order):
1. Fuel filter
2. Spark plugs, wires
3. Ignition coils
If you have not replaced spark plug & wires in 100k, it is definitely time. For fuel filter, it is supposed to be replaced every 30k miles. Cat. would cause you trouble more in the higher RPM range if clogged.
