last night i drive home from work and my temp gauge went to the red critical line.
i also , all of a sudden have no heat. does this sound like a thermostat ?
please give me your advise.

Possible. You could also have a head gasket or LIM leak.

When i was overheating, the ac didnt work and the fuse blew.. the ac fuse and rad fan fuse are the same, so check that too.

Over heating could be caused by a thermostat stuck closed, but you would still have heat as the coolant is diverted to the heater core and a bypass line back to the water pump while the thermostat is closed. It sounds like something else to me.

Either water pump is bad and/or coolant is leaking somewhere... or possibly blown head gasket, although that doesn't explain the no heat unless your heater core is bad. What is the coolant level in the overflow tank and how does the coolant look?
