spots on my polished rims

help! my problem is that every time it rains i get spots on my rims. Most of the time they come off, but yesterday i couldnt get some off, does anyone have any solutions? I used wheel max wheel cleaner and it didnt work too well. I dont want spots all over my new rims

You try rubbing them out with a rag and some cleaner??

Once they are clean, get some polish / wax on them.

well i threw some zaino on mine.. since then the waterspots come right off. gotta love the 077's :D

i'm gonna get some cleaner during my lunch break and see what happens then after work i will polish them, i will also take pics on my lunch break and post them when i get back

ok i didnt have much time to do anything besides buy some cleaner, polish and some rags, here is a pic of one of the rims with the spots, i also threw in a pic of the car in the garage where it will sit til i get home

ok lastnight i went home and used the wheel cleaner to clean my rims, the good news is the spots came off, the bad news it sure turned my rotors an ugly color, luckily that came off when i drove the car and used the brakes.

Next I polished the rims. It was alot harder to do than I had anticipated, but the results came out great. Here is a picture a rim with the polish...

You need to paint those calipers boy!!! haha Looking good! I like those rims. I know the spots you're talking about too. The Pace Car has aluminum or chrome rims? I believe and they're dull as hell. I don't know if they're supposed to be like that or if it's becasue no one took care of them over the years.. Hrmph oh well. glad to hear you got the spots of. Make sure you polish them every so often so they're protected. Use some Zaino on those bad boys :)
