ok i watched the whole game, which i dont even know why. the raiders didnt even seemed a bit interested in the game. i couldnt believe rich gannon. i mean come on now, those interceptions were horrible, not to mention he set a record with 5 in one superbowl. overall i thought it was a horrible ending to a football season and i bet the bears could've made it a little bit more exciting. anyone else wanna comment on the game.

The Radiers as I have known them didn't show up. I would have never thought the score to be as "lopsided" as what it was. You're right dude, they seemed uninterested.
I'm happy for the Bucs, but also sad for guys like Jerry **** and Tim Brown. So I kind of have mixed emotions on the outcome.

i agree, i felt for jerry **** and tim brown, but jerry has 3 championships already, so its not a big deal to him. i didnt care who won, i just wanted it to be a good game, and it turned out being horrible. IMO
Oak's playcalling was pathetic. Run some screens, draws, running plays... SOMETHING to slow down the pass rush. They did nothing to slow down the rush, and they paid for it. Gannon didn't have a chance.
When they did get the ball away, Oak could not hold on to it.
They also seemed to do little to fool Gruden who obviously knew the Raiders very well.
They did seem very un-focused. Pathetic showing from a team full of veterens who should know better.
At least now Sapp can talk about how great he is (even though he only averages about 2-3 tackles a game). I lost any bit of respect I had left for him this season.... when he hit that Packer, and then when he purposely rolled up on Maddox's ankle. (After strolling through the Steeler's warm up before the game).
I was hoping for a better game. I don't like either team :D

And to add to VaGT's to the point frustrations...what was up with the 2 pt conversion deals!!!?!??! Why go for two when your offense can't even get a first down!!!!??? One by special teams, one by the defense...#1 offense my ass....
Seriously...I'm so mad right now I'm actually doing homework on a Sunday so I don't think about it. I'm sure as hell not leaving my apartment though...
1000's of drunk angry Raiders fans = Lock the doors and bar the windows!
Way to set a !@#$in' Superbowl record Gannon :rage: :rage:

The raiders sucked! I'm so glad the Bucs won. I didn't even get to watch the 2nd half....It was pretty much over at that time anyway.
I went to a local bar to watch the game...great time:
paid $10 and got free draft beer, steak, potatos, wings....damn good time. I almost asked a wicked hot girl out..but I chickened out.
to top it all off...I think I'm still drunk and it's 10am!!!!!!!

Defense wins championships and if you don't know that you don't know football. If the #1 defense goes against a #1 offense, assuming that the #1 offense has a lower ranked defense (due to salary cap) and the #1 defense has a lower ranked offense, the defensive team will win because they shutdown the offense, can score on their own (which they did, a lot), and their offense can have a sorry day and still win due to the other team having even less points.

I live about 15 miles from Oakland and I have only two words (not based on their Super Bowl performance but the reputation the fans put on the city)... RAIDERS SUCK Go Colts!! HEHE (yeah they suck too, just in a different way)
