Anyone know what either of these plugs are and where they plug into exactly? They're on my 97 2.4l manual engine harness, along the firewall, next to the 4 relays that are bunched together. The first one, that is round, has a large purple wire and a sort of spade terminal inside. And the second has a large black wire with somewhat of the same connector. Any help is much appeciated!

Hey Dave...if you don't get an answer here, I'd try over at GAOwnersclub.com
There's a lot more 96-98 guys over there.

I believe they were right along the firewall. I had relocated my harness into the wiper cowl for my turbo application. But it should be near the same location. I can't find anything they might plug into.

There is a sensor on the block under the exhaust between the firewall and transaxle, then the other "looks" like the sensor that is on the bottom of the pan. It got dark on me so I cant look now, if that doesnt work let me know and I'll get it in the garage tomorrow night and take a look

Are you talking about the oil level sensor on the bottom of the pan?

Also maybe these have something to do with my fuel pump and starter not engaging. All fuses have been checked.

Ok, so these have nothing to do with either of the above issues. They belong to the blower motor. Any ideas on the above?

Fuel pump and starter could have something to do with the ignition.

Pump and starter seem to be ok. I think it has something to do with the plugs behind the glovebox. My car is a 96, but I swapped to a 97 engine harness and computer. I matched the plugs from the car to the engine harness plugs and there are a few wires missing from the car to the engine. Its just a few wires different. Will I need to swap the interior harness to a 97 also?
