You know your basketball team is going down the tubes when you lose to Michigan. Sorry GuruII, State lost to Michigan this weekend. It hasnt happened in the past 8 matches. And yes the program is on probation for the season, thank you Chris Weber.
GO BLUE, State Sucks!

After being the butt of the Big Ten for the past few years, I just wonder how U of M is now at the top. They have some good freshmen, but I never watched or rooted for them and I go to the school, lol.

Didn't they have that HUGE guy (like 300 lbs or something-broke the glass dunking one time) a few years ago?? I thought they did pretty good with him?? Or am I thinking of another team?

I would change the title, but I am not sure how too or if I would be able to. I tried edit, but nothing for me to do to correct it. I am so sorry Tony, I tried my best, hehe!
I could delete it, but I dont wanna

That big 300lb guy was Robert "Tractor" Traylor. They did decently when he was here at U of M, won the Big Ten once or twice but those were some of the years they had to forfeit, thank you Ed Martin (I believe it was because of Louis Bullock accepting stuff from him, before that was Chris Webber among others).
As for this year, they have a few good freshman, and everyone is finally buying into Tommy Amaker's philosophy so they are on the rise again. I'm not predicting national titles but with this next recruiting class they have coming in things are definatley looking better for Michigan basketball again.
As for this year, after seeing Arizona cut into that 20 point lead and erase it at Kansas and win, I think they are the favorites but they always screw up my brackets come March. Always gotta watch out for Duke but they are kinda young this year, I'm sure someone is bound to surprise all of us and do well too. Gonna be fun to watch
