Ive got a tube coming from my air duct and going into the rear valve cover. Where it sits in the valve cover, its loose as if its missing a grommet. my engine is chugging at idle and im assuming this is the cause. where to get this? ive looked everywhere and nothing, i think id just need the grommet but the whole tube dealio if thats how it comes. any ideas?

That would be for your pcv system just put some rtv around the end of the hose and it should stay fine.

it's quite a feat to reach that, if it's the one i'm thinking of. mine's loose and has been that way for a long time. it sits just under the coil pack.

i really don't think that is your problem though... does it "chug at idle" at startup, or does it still happen when the car warms up and been running a few minutes?

I called the dealership yesterday and found that tube, they wanted $26.00 for it, but from the oil around the hole it appeared it had been that way and i decided that couldnt be my problem. so i started looking around. I heard a vaccuum leak, but took forever to find it after going through all the hoses. It turns out one of the bolts to the throttle body was loose and after tightening it the chugging went away instantly. I had pulled everything apart to remove the front exhaust manifold as I had two bolts snapped off. (which i couldnt extract even after pulling the a/c condenser and radiator.) I guess when i put it all back together i didnt tighten the throttle body back down all the way. so that problem is fixed.

BTW anyone selling a stock front head? lol

throttle body bolts were looses eh? funny you mention that...
changed the UIM and LIM on mine a few weeks ago. one week later, i received my new 65mm throttle body. when i went to take out the stock T/B, those bolts about fell out! they were tight when they were put in the week before.
apparently, heating/cooling expansion loosened them up. what else could it have been?
glad you fixed it yourself.
