Hey guys, is it possible to splice into the air intake tempature sender and hook it up to a tempature gauge (like one made for coolant tempature) and have it read right? I was just thinking about getting a gauge pod and was thinking of gauges to fill it with. Thanks

Not really. A coolant temp gauge usually comes with its own sender. The gauge will be calibrated for that sender's temp vs resistance setup and will probably read incorrectly.

Tapping into the stock one may also interfere with the PCM.

Exactly... and why would you want to know what the intake temp is? a tuner will tell you if you really want to know.

Good gauges to have would be air/fuel ratio, trans temp, battery voltage, oil pressure, are probably the most useful ones, you have a coolant gauge already. IMO you don't really need to know the exact temp of you coolant you will know if its running hot from the stock gauge. and then a vac/boost gauge if you were boosted.
