Does anyone know what the voltage reading is suppose to be when your car is at Idle? My car runs about 13.8 volts or so at Idle.

You're fine.

Anything over 12.8 and you're good.

That's normal.

Well the reason I asked this is because I somehow drained a Optima red top battery. I am thinking now that it was not charged all the way when I got it. So I took it to Auto Zone to have it discharged then recharged and then see how it goes. So I was thinking maybe my car wasn't pushing enough voltage because of my UDP I installed.

Could be that you have a draw on the battery while its parked that keep draining it.

Have any idea what can cause a draw?

Anything can cause a draw. There's no one specific culprit.

The only way to find it is to put an ammeter in series with the negative cable and eliminate components one by one.
