WHERE do they suck out the excess tranny fluid in a gagt, at the fill cap or at the overflow? i've never done it before, but i want to do a COMPLETE change, not just the 7 quart option........please help!

They don't suck it out.... they drain it. And there is no overflow for the transmission. ;) You have to drop the pan to drain it completely, and you have to remove the torque converter for a true full change because it holds like 3 quarts of fluid. Typically a pan drop and filter change is enough though. There is a fill plug on the passenger side of the trans case by the axle, that when the fluid starts running out of that hole the transmission is full. Has to be done with the car level though and the transmission hot and engine running to get an accurate level.
