so anyways here i am again winter, wisconsin...and i went to roll down my window when it was a bit frozen to the seal and the clip glued to the window broke off again...

..so what Epoxy or adhesive actually HOLDS??! anyone know?? the strongest crap possible i need it!! but i need to know what it is?? (second time this has happened!) faulty crap epoxy!..

i've been thinking about trying some construction adhesive (ie PL 375) haha...

GM bulletins specify a urethane adhesive. I believe the GM stuff is actually Fusor 147. 3M Windo-Weld sortof works and is easier to find. Or get the specified stuff from a GM dealer as P/N 12378568.

2 part epoxy found at your local hardware store always served me fine.

Make sure to rough up the window a little bit where the clip sits, will help it hold better.

same thing happened to myself and a family members ga window. its a two part epoxy, and you can buy it anywhere......ace hardware, walmart, target, walgreens..... Where is Wisconsin are you?

and thanks guys i think i'll try some jb weld i believe...i've already tried 2 different kinds now.. ugh!

At least the clips don't break for you...My problem is they always break and then it's fun times getting it off.
