Hello I was looking at snow tires for my 2000 pontiac grand am gt1 coupe ram air with the stock 16" chrome wheels and was wanting to know if these 235/65R16 Bridgestone Blizzak Snow Tires I found on Craigslist would fit or work on my rims? Thank you.

[QUOTE=Mike Jung;1145608]No !!!

EDIT: Fit your rims ? Sure.

Work on the GA: NO!

Is the width and the profile height too high and wide?

Is the width and the profile height too high and wide?
It is 3.1" too tall, on the overall diameter.

& is too wide.
When the stock width is 225.

The stock tire size for the 16"s is 225/50 R16.

Put them side by side, and the answer is obvious: NO.

Width wise you could probably fit a 235 on the stock rim, but you would need a shorter sidewall. Stock is 50 series and a 65 series on a 235 tire is going to be WAAAAY too tall and will rub the lower spring perch and fenders for sure. If you want something that you know will fit and isn't going to screw up your speedometer and odometer, the answer is obvious.... get something the same size as stock!

Firestone Winterforce has a 225/50/16. Last time I checked they were 15% off right now
