I've looked for a black headliner but I cannot seem to find one. Anybody know where to buy a direct fit black colored headliner? If not I guess I am down to using carpet paint.

they don't exist. All you can get is stock color. If you want another color, you have to dye it or have it reupholstered.

just recover the headliner. its not that hard, just make sure you use a glue made for headliners

Yup and most places that sell the fabric also sell the glue. It is a lot harder to angle the headliner out of a sedan though.

haha. Can I even get a big enough piece to cover the whole thing so I don't have separation lines across it?

I see that on here I can get extra carpeting in which I think I can get a big piece that I can use to redo the headliner.

Thanks guys.

That's not what you want to do a headliner with. Carpet is WAY too thick and heavy. It will not conform properly to the shape, and it won't stay stuck either. You need a material that is thinner, lighter, and more flexible.

http://www.automotiveinteriors.com/headliners_readymade/order_suedefb_material.htm This is where you can order headliner fabric from and 2yards would be plenty to cover your car's headliner. You can also buy the glue you have to strip the old fabric off and glue off it before putting the new fabric. If you have the sunroof you have to get 3 yards to recover that sliding part as well. I would go with the suede looking fabric as it would match the look of oem headliners.

That link i posted was only for the carpet that I'll be getting eventually, too. I saw on there somewhere I can get color match carpet by the yard but I haven't exactly looked into how thick it is or anything.
