CRAZY thing...alittle help?

Alright, im sitting in traffic stop, go, stop, go, you know. so it clears up and i let off the brake and im stepping on the gas( very softly) and the mph tack flips all the way to 120mph. i was like "UHHHHHHH". its been two days and everything is fine. just wanted to know if this may have happend to anyone else?

Holy Sh*t man same **** happened to me and then a week later my tranny dropped so go get your tranny checked asap!/.:huh: :confused:

its sounds more like an alternator problem, mine would go on wierd MPH, then say im doing 35 when i was even going. But its possible its the trans also, and has a bad sensor, get it checked out.

Any other funky electronical things happening? Turn on every single accessory you can think of then nail the gas as usual. Same deal? Worse?

Maybe it's a wheel speed sensor?

Are you getting ABS, LowTrac lights or SVS lights?

nope no lights are coming on. i havent tried the accesories but i will. I wired my neons to my wipers but im pretty sure that cant be it. I only ahve 29,000 miles on it so i dont think it is the tranny. This has only happend once and it has been 3 days now and everything seems fine.

you serious? becasue i have an SE and the top speed on the gauge is 120, so we must have had the same thing happen. you have any i dea whats wrong? the guys at autozone said it was prob just a glitch.
