Before anyone asks, I did search. I found some threads that danced around the issue, but no one really said how to fix it even though clearly people have.

I bought the 6000k 35W HID kit from Customgrandam.com http://www.customgrandam.com/hid.htm
It isn't exactly as pictured, but it's close.

I did the DRL disable and the automatic headlight disable as well. The HIDs themselves work fine, but the High Beam Indicator on the dash is lit up preventing me from using my fogs. When I flick my high beams on, they just kind of turn off or get really dim, but the indicator stays lit. I'm not getting any SVS or SES codes.

From what I read, the problem lies in the 3 prong connector to the headlight, and that one of them is incorrect. Before I just go guessing and switching wires, I want to make sure I am right. I don't want to screw anything up. Is there any way of telling exactly how they should be wired?

Okay figured it out with the old Haynes Manual. The pink wire should go to the highbeam light which was correct the whole time, the problem lied in the other two wires which just needed to be reversed. The black wires should go to the middle connector, and the red (thicker) wire that goes to the HID light should go where the black used to be. You will also have have to reverse the polarity on the ballast for it to work now.

Put it all back together and tested it. No hi-beam indicator! The foglights work with the HID now, and when I flick the highbeams, the HIDs will turn off and the hibeam will turn on as well as the indicator.
