I have been searching for a few days on here and the rest of the internet but can't find anything quiet like my problem. My horn will not sound while pushing on the steering wheel and the relay does not click when pushing on steering wheel. Horn works with 12v to the horn directly. horn works with 12v to the upper right relay plug. horn works with a jumper from the hot fuse plug to the upper right relay plug. relay clicks when panic button is pushed on key fob. relay clicks when car is locked and unlocked with key fob. my horn did not work when i bought the car. i had the turn signal clicking noise but i fixed that and made sure that the horn slip ring did not get FUBAR. my cruise control still works so the clock spring can't be AFU.Any suggestions? Maybe the horn switch?
oh yeah i guess i should put in some useful information. It is a 2003 grand am se. 3.4l. driver airbag. not sure what else to put.

here is an update. horn still not working but the clicking i hear from the relay is actually the light relays that make the lights flicker when you hit the panic button. no horn relay sound. if i remove the plastic cover off the horn relay and manually open the relay, the horn works. this sucks because i'm not getting a damn thing done on my boat.

go to JY find a relay and change it out and see if its stuck !

fuse, relay, clock spring, horn switch and cancel cam were all good. i fixed it though. i rewired the whole system, bypassing the fuse box and stock relay by wiring in another fuse and relay from a 12VDC source. works great even with the stock alarm.

easiest way to fix this, buy one of them "horn broken, watch for finger" bumper stickers.

blamo! you are fixed!

the bumper sticker is a great thing but the people at DMV want everything to work before my wife can take a driving test. i don't think the bumper sticker would count in this situation.
